Our Story
Crafted with devotion. Rooted in tradition.
Where It All Began
Nadar was born from a deeply personal place — a love for Punjabi culture, Sikh heritage, and the art of giving gifts that truly mean something. What began as handcrafted pieces for family gatherings quickly grew into a small business built on word-of-mouth and the universal desire for something real in a world of mass production.
Our founder — a proud Punjabi Canadian — wanted to create decor that spoke to both worlds: the ancient wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and the modern Canadian home. Pieces that you could hang in your mandir, your entryway, your nursery, or give as a gift at a wedding — and know that it would be treasured for decades.
Using precision Cricut cutting and premium locally sourced woods, every piece is made to order. No two are exactly alike. Each carries the natural grain of the wood, the care of human hands, and the weight of something made with intention.
Based in Ontario, Canada, we ship across the country and to the USA. We are a small family business — and we intend to stay that way. Because when you stay small, you stay careful.
